BiographyBaiitsu studies under a number of local Nagoya painters and while still quite young was befriended by Nakabayashi Chikuto (1776-1853). The two became lifelong companions. They reached an artistic turning point after studying the Chinese literati painting collection of the noted merchant and collector Kamiya Tenyu, also of Nagoya.
