On View
Not on viewCrafted from light-green nephrite with dark-green and white suffusions, this vessel is shaped like a Chinese bowl with a slightly flaring rim and a flat ring foot. The bowl has very thin walls and decoration in low relief. A plain border near the top edge and another surrounding the foot enclose the central band of baoxianghua (a composite flower) and stylized leaves.
The piece is basically a Chinese bowl with Chinese decoration, but the thinness of its wall indicates that it is a Hindustan-style bowl.
