More Information
Yama Antarasiddhi is a form of the Lord of Hell developed in the Himalayas. Trained meditators visualize him in order to confront the psychological forces that he represents, in this case, the terror of death itself. Why? If the Lord of Death is faced with equanimity—a state fostered by the meditation— then liberation from all reincarnation and its consequent suffering takes place.
