On View
Not on viewEkajata is a fierce deity usually shown as an attendant to Avalokiteshvara (God of Mercy). Her hair is gathered into a single bun, hence her name, which can be translated as "one whose hair is arranged in a single chignon." Her fierce mien is emphasized by her bulging eyes, her frowning eyebrows, her skull bowl and curved knife attributes, and garland of severed heads.
